In his second season win and ninth career score, the 1:52.3 clocking with Brett Miller replaced the track record of 1:53 set in 2023 by The Mighty Hill (4-year-old trotting horse or gelding).
Conditioned by Stacey Van Huizen, Spitfire Oversees was a winner by five lengths for his ownership group in TheStable.ca. He is a son of International Money out of the Deweycheatumnhowe mare Legal Lady. He has been with TheStable.ca since he was purchased as a yearling at the Harrisburg Sale for $25,000.
